Vintage Romance

The theme for this week at MMM is... Victorian Romance wk 37, so this is my card:

I love doing this technique with paper, simply using your finger nails to curl and distress the edges!!  So I used Vintage Photo, Victorian Velvet and Old Paper distress inks.  The love poem is from Creative Expressions 'Flower Phrases'.  I dyed the lace with distress inks and glimmer mists, the pearls are cosmic shimmer glue. I created the flowers from Spellbinders scollop circles, inked them, sprayed with water and scrunched them, then left them to dry before sticking together.

  7. Hi Lainey, gorgeous card, love all the vintage colorus you've used (as you've probably gathered they're among my favourites!). In answer to your question, the alfa cubes are by Studio G and they are small letter rubber stamps on long wooden posts. I've had mine for ages, can't remember where I picked it up from now. Hope this helps ! Thanks for all you lovely comments. Sue C x

  11. Unfortunately, my stamping was more luck than judgement ! I just eyed it up and went for it ! Doesn't matter if it's not dead straight, makes it more original !
