What a surprise I had today when I found this in my comments....  nominated for Versatile Blogger  (not spam)

I have been crafting in one way or another since childhood
I became addicted to paper crafts about 4 yrs ago
I have undergone 2 major surgeries for cancer but still here & smiling :)
I have 2 beautiful daughters
I LOVE being a grandmother
I was excited to be invited onto the DT for Cardmaking Paradise
I love to walk & smell the tress when damp

  5. I am touched Lainey that you have nominated me for this award, that is so special.
    So pleased you are still smiling after what must have been very traumatic surgeries, you obviously have a very positive attitude to see you through. It's great to read things about our blogging buddies and I hadn't realised you were a grandmother, it's just the most wonderful thing in the world isn't it?

  8. Thank you so much Lainey, I do feel honoured that you have picked me, a nice way to start the week! I have been away at a show this weekend and have a lot to catch up with but I will get round to posting about as soon as possible.

    Thank you for sharing about yourself, sorry to hear of your problems with cancer but pleased to hear that you have a good positive attitude to get you through.

    I too have survived Cancer surgery and treatment and know how important a positive approach to it all makes a difference.. good luck :)
